Until recently, there was no cheap and easy way to produce nanobubbles. Here are two budget-friendly options for generating nanobubbles:
1. Oknozzles from Japan
This company offers low-cost nano bubblers, with the cheapest models priced around $200. They work on the principle of turbulent vortex formation.
You can order them through their website: https://oknozzle.com/products/standard-nozzle/.
The nozzle connects to a water flow of 6 L/min and a separate gas supply, making it suitable for small-scale experiments.
2. Hardwood Carbon Nozzles
You can create your own nano bubbler using pieces of hardwood branches. The process involves carefully drying the wood under specific conditions and charring the outside with a burner. The natural structure of the wood, combined with the carbonized surface, facilitates the release of nanobubbles. The nozzle must be placed in a water flow to shear off the bubbles from the surface.
We are planning to produce such nozzles and will share updates on our progress here.
